The Lady Cougars led 11-1 after the first period and shutout Forrest 10-0 in the second quarter for a 21-1 halftime lead.
Abby Hagman scored for MTCS to begin the second half before Ally Blanton nailed a 3-pointer for Forrest's first field goal of the contest.
Kayla Taylor netted a basket for MTCS and Hagman followed with two free throws, making it 27-4.

Both squads would go cold from the field for the remainder of the third quarter with Ray and Hagman hitting one free throw each as the Lady Cougars took a 28-6 lead to the final six minutes.
Hodges scored for MTCS at the outset of the fourth quarter before FMS outscored the Lady Cougars 11-3 the rest of the way.
Ray led the Lady Rockets in the scoring column with six points, while Shea Lewis and Ally Blanton netted four points apiece, Shelby King had two points, and Abbie Hill rounded out the FMS scoring with one point.
Taylor led all scorers in the contest with 17 points, while Hagman had nine points, Hodges finished with eight points, and Michaela Bussey ended up with one point for MTCS.
