The Forrest Rockets traveled to Cheatham County Thursday for a tri-meet versus the host Cubs and Montgomery Central and the Chapel Hill grapplers came away with a sweep, but it came at big cost.

Opening up the tri-meet on a good note, the Rockets blasted the Indians 64-18, accumulating 30 points by forfeit.

Joseph Redman (145 pounds) started off the meet with a pin over Bryton Spitzley before Clepper Watson (152) tied it up with a fall over Christian Tweed.

Forfeit wins

Wesley McCoy (160) and Tanner Kerr (170) followed with forfeit wins, making it 18-6, but a Logan Arkell (182) pin over Austin Geeting kept the Indians close.

The Rockets wept the next six weight classes, beginning with a pair of pins by William Eddins (195) over Sirshango Outlaw and Nikolas McGuiggan (220) over Lane Frost.

Alan Williams (285) before third-ranked Jeffrey Gross (106) pinned Jeremy Clark.

Harley Sisk (113) and Dylan Pendley (120) won by forfeit to close the streak with the Rockets in front 54-12.

The Indians came up with their final points of the match when Jacob Key (126) won by fall over Justin Leonard.

Big decision

Peyton Sisk (132) came up with four points for the Rockets, winning a 14-6 major decision over Brandon Maples before the match ended on a Joseph "Cheese" Williams (138) pin over Preston Loomis.

In the nightcap, Forrest took on the Cubs and it would be a good vibrations early as the Rockets jumped out to an insurmountable 36-6 lead before disaster struck in the 113-pound match when fifth-ranked Harley Sisk went down with a season ending injury in his match versus Kolby Levrets.

Watson won by forfeit to start the match and McCoy followed with a pin over Gupton.

The Cubs tied the match with back-to-back pins by Brett Beamer (170) over Austin Geeting and Brandon DeMoss (182) over Tanner Kerr.

In control

Forrest took control when Eddins and McGuiggan both won by fall before Alan Williams (285) and Gross won by default.

After Sisk was injured, number-two ranked Pendley pinned Kevin Willoughby, giving Forrest a 48-18 lead.

Leonard and Peyton Sisk picked up six points apiece with forfeit wins for the Rockets' final points of the night as Jaden Johnson and Dallas Prater garnered pins for the Cubs.
