The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce selected Chris Gilbert as the Marshall County Outstanding Citizen of the Year for 2019.
The Chapel Hill pharmacist has served as chairman of the board of directors, a voluntary position, for the Marshall County Emergency Communications District since its establishment in 1987. Gilbert is also an active member of the Chapel Hill Lions Club, committing many hours to the club’s Superpull of the South event every year, and has served as the radio voice for Forrest School athletics.
