Regent Nancy Pruitt welcomes attendees to Friday’s annual commemoration of Flag Day.
The Robert Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution holds the event every June 14 at the Abner Houston cabin to honor the symbol of the nation.
Lewisburg Mayor Jim Bingham served as the keynote speaker for the event, Melody Spence led the singing of the national anthem, and Pruitt led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.
