ntroduced Moore County native Jeremy Jean as its new girls head basketball coach on Monday.
Jean, a member of the 1999 state championship team at Moore County, comes to Forrest via Franklin County, where he was the assistant coach of the girls' team the last two seasons. Prior to his time with the Rebels, Jean coached at Lincoln County for two years and Motlow State Community College for four years.
At Franklin County High School, Jean was mentored by the legendary John Wild, the only coach in Tennessee scholastic sports history to guide a men's team and a women's team to consecutive state titles. After the 1999 title run with the Moore County boys, Wild coached the Bradford women's team to the state championship the following season.
