CORNERSVILLE — Cornersville absolutely dominated Culleoka in every facet of the game on Tuesday night in a 23-0, three-inning thrashing.
The Lady ‘Dawgs only connected for eight hits, but plated 12 runs in the first inning and 11 in the second for the run-rule limit.
Anna Wood led the ‘Lady Dawgs at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs to her credit. Alicial Polk also was an offensive machine, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs.
Molly Wells also drove in three runs as well.
Carmen Ward kept the Culleoka bats silenced and pitched a no-hitter, striking out seven and issuing just one walk.
