LEWISBURG — A three-run fourth inning on Tuesday night wasn’t enough for Marshall County to pick up a win against visiting Lincoln County as the Falcons knocked in the game-winning run in the top of the fifth inning on a RBI double in the 5-4 win over the Tigers.

After being sat down in order in the third, Thomas Beech ground out to first, but scored John Morgan Thomas from third, who reached earlier via walk.
Grayson Miller then clubbed a two RBI triple to left, once again tying the game, this time at four.
The final run of the game came in a RBI double in the top of the fifth.
Neither team was able to score in the final two innings.
In total, Marshall County managed just three hits, but two of the three went for extra bases.
On the mound, Grayson Miller went three innings and gave up four runs on three hits before Trey Warner took over and pitched four innings, giving up one unearned run on three hits, while striking out five.
