The Tigerettes took on the Lady Raiders of Richland on Monday night looking to finish a complete game after giving up a commanding lead to claim a five-point victory over E.A. Cox on Thursday night.
The Tigerettes jumped out to an early 11-4 lead in the first quarter behind strong inside play from Hannah Davis (4 points) and Courtney Agnew (3 points).
The Tigerettes continued to smother the Lady Raiders on defense allowing just six points at the break and scoring 22 first half points by the home team.
"We talked about in our last practice about needing the killer instinct because in most of our games we've gotten off to good starts and then we've had either second or third quarters lulls where we let the other team back in the game," LMS coach Chris Coleman said. "So we said tonight after our good start, let's really put them away."
The Tigerettes (7-1) heeded the coaches advice and did not have a third quarter let down allowing just four Richland third quarter points compared to 10 from LMS behind six Kelsey Keiler points and four by Hannah Davis.
The 32-8 lead at the end of the third period allowed the LMS subs to gain some much needed game experience and the Tigerettes finished out the game with a 42-17 blowout over the Lady Raiders.
"Always when you have the opportunity to play your entire bench is a huge positive," Coleman noted. "We've been blessed that we've been able to do that in several games this year and that helps us not only this year but next year as well."
Hannah Davis had a monster night for the Tigerettes with 14 points, Kelsey Keiler had eight points and Abby McGehee and Karlye Wiser finished with six each.

The Tigers (2-6) were looking to bounce back from a tough loss to an athletic E.A. Cox team that frustrated LMS Thursday night with a stifling full court press.
The Tigers started out strong and played hard the rest of the game for a 45-15 dismantling over the Raiders from Richland.
"This is the first time that we've played a team for the second time this season," LMS coach David Lovell explained. "I think they were determined to prove that they've gotten better since the last time we played them. So we came out with a little more energy tonight."
The Tigers and Raiders battled close in the first quarter for a slim 4-3 LMS lead behind two points each from Canelius Turner and McKenley Horton.
Preston Shelton caught fire for the Tigers in the second quarter, hitting two contested treys and Canelius Turner added five more points as the home team held the visitors to a meager two points in the period for a decisive 17-5 halftime edge.
Richland briefly tried to make a comeback in the third behind five points from Josh Marshall, but Andrew Gold exploded for 12 points in the quarter to squash any other thoughts of a comeback.
Gold and Matthew McCormick scored four points apiece in the final quarter as the Tigers pulled away to win in convincing fashion 45-15 over a winless Richland squad. Gold finished with 16 points and Canelius Turner chipped in nine points to lead the Tigers.
