MCHS Student Reaches National Merit Commended Status
In the fall of the junior year of high school, students may take the PSAT, the test which determines National Merit Scholars. Of the 1.6 millions students who take the test each year, 50,000 are chosen for some type of recognition in the National Merit Scholarship program. MCHS is pleased to announce that Haley Davis reached commended status as one of these 50,000 students. This means that she is in the top 3% of all PSAT test-takers in the nation. Congratulations, Haley!
