MCXC has recent success

The Marshall County High School cross country team has found plenty of success in recent weeks through competing in area meets.
Marshall County competed in the Webb School Invitational, which was held last Thursday, and saw several strong runs by both the girls and boys teams.
Krew Capps took fifth-place overall and finished the 5K race in 18:27.
McKinley Allen finished second for the Tigers in 20:52, while Ayden Cook finished with a run time of 21:42.
For the girls, Lydia Molina finished 12th overall and turned in a 23:31. Kamaria Johnson was hot on her heels with a finish time of 23:58. 
The girls squad followed the strong outing at Webb with a team win at Community earlier this week.
Molina took fourth at the Community Invite with a 23:46. Brady Phillips was close behind with an eighth-place finish in 24:25, while Kamaria Johnson finished in 24:55. 
On the boys’ side, Capps finished second overall in 19:02, while Allen turned in a 21:53 final time.
