Fomer Cornersville softball coach and current athletic director Spencer Mitchell (second row, middle) was honored at halftime of the Lady Bulldogs' basketball game against Columbia Academy. Mitchell retired at the end of the last season and compiled a career record of 243-129-2 at Cornersville, while helping lead the Lady Bulldogs to three third place finishes in the Class A State tournament. A number of his former players greeted Mitchell at midcourt at the conclusion of the ceremony.
