Gene Moshier, 84, of Chapel Hill, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in Geneva, Wis.
Mr. Moshier was born in Hale, Mich. and was a son of the late Elmer William and Winifred Covell Moshier. He was retired from Quality Industrial Company of LaVergne, and was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.
Mr. Moshier was preceded in death by his wife, Velvadene Moshier; son, David Moshier; granddaughter, Pamela Cobb; and a brother, Melvin James Moshier.
He is survived by a daughter, Debra (Andy) Cobb of Chapel Hill; son, Dwight (Dottie) Moshier of Chapel Hill; daughter-in-law, Betty Moshier of Chapel Hill; sister, Sarah Servey of Lake City, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 3, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Douglas officiating, followed by burial in Medium Cemetery.
