• July 25 - The South Central Human Resource Agency Policy Council and Executive Committee will meet on July 25 at 11 a.m. at the SCHRA Central Office, 1437 Winchester Hwy., Fayetteville.

• July 29 - Lewisburg Electric System’s Board of Public Utilities regularly scheduled board meeting, will be held Monday, July 29 at 6 p.m. at 599 West Ellington Pkwy. The meeting is open to the public.

• July 30 - The Community Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular meeting Tuesday, July 30 at 12 p.m., at the Historic 1st Avenue Building, 207 1st Avenue N.

• July 30 - The Marshall County Budget Committee will reconvene their meeting on Tuesday, July 30 at 5 p.m. to conduct interviews for the Director of Accounts and Budget. This meeting will be held at the Courthouse Annex kitchen area Room 2209.

• Aug 1 - The Town of Cornersville will have its regular meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall in Cornersville. This meeting is open to the public and all citizens are welcome to attend.

• Aug 2 - Marshall County Art Guild Board/Member meeting at 11 a.m.

• Aug 4 - The Marshall County Historical Society will meet Sunday afternoon, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. in the county museum at 230 College Street. Historian Catherine Handford will present the program on the “The State of Tennessee versus Judge W. J. Leonard,” which covers an 1898 jury trial that divided Marshall Countians.

• Aug 5 - Industrial Board Meeting at noon at Historic First Avenue Building.

• Aug 5 - Lewisburg City Council Work Session at 4 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall.

• Aug 6 - The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a work session Tuesday, August 6, 5 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.
