The counselors are: Pam Gentry from Chapel Hill Elementary, Mignonne Sawyer from Delk-Henson Intermediate School, Becky Cheatham and Susan Wild from Forrest School, Debra Gage from Cornersville Elementary, Edna London from Cornersville School, Robyn Padgett from Oak Grove Elementary, Carroll Cope from Marshall Elementary School, Stephanie O’Neal from Westhills Elementary, Chris Coleman from Lewisburg Middle School, and Blair Goodman and Jeanne Wiles from Marshall County High School.
In addition to recognizing counselors for their contribution to the school and their students, the school board approved the five-year strategic plan.
The Board of Education’s main goal is to maximize learning in all areas for each student. The mission is divided into five parts: instruction, learning, assessment, collective decision making, and policy.
Topics mentioned in the plan include: infrastructure, technology, elementary education, career and technical education, and secondary education.
