With more than 60 long-term care facilities in this district we certainly are in need of volunteers to visit residents and listen to them, monitor conditions, report issues to the District Ombudsman on a monthly basis, educate staff, residents, and visitors of the facility about the Ombudsman program as well as helping residents with any problems or issues that may arise while living in a long-term care facility.. ... more
