Alice Bell Poarch Newton, 88, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Golie Jay and Lillie Bell Ball Poarch, and the wife of the late William Morris Newton.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Josie Talley, Dorothy Poarch, and Elaine Poarch, and her brothers J., John, Charlie, Edward, Ned, and Howard Poarch.
Survivors include her daughters, Faye Newton of Pulaski and Melanie Harwell and husband Stanley of Pulaski; her sister, Sue Barnes of Cornersville; and her grandchildren, Erin and Leah Harwell of Shelbyville.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, followed by burial at New Hope Cemetery in Cornersville.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, Pulaski, was in charge of arrangements.
