Alma Trotter Lowe, 95, of Lewisburg, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at NHC Lewisburg.
Mrs. Lowe was a native of Dickson, Tenn., the daughter of the late Rev. James E. and Ollie Weaks Trotter. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg and United Methodist Women. She was a retired bookkeeper at Alford's Pharmacy and Lewisburg Industrial and Welding.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Skinny" Lowe, one brother, James S. Trotter, and a sister, Quida Trotter Gregory.
She is survived by two nephews, Don Trotter of Arizona and Jim Gregory of Florida; a niece, Mary Gordon of North Carolina; and local caretakers, Margaret Tyree and Jackie Abernathy.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 23, at the First United Methodist Church, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
