Mrs. Alexander was a lifelong resident of Cornersville and the Lewisburg Community. She was the widow of James (Jim) Alexander and a faithful member of Greater First Baptist Church. It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Annie L. Alexander, age 92, at Marshall County Medical Center on Oct. 12, 2015. Mrs. Alexander was a lifelong resident of Cornersville and the Lewisburg Community. She was the widow of James (Jim) Alexander and a faithful member of Greater First Baptist Church. She was also was preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Evelyn Waters, and two sons, David and Charles Alexander.
Christ has been her strong hold her entire life as mother to 11 children, five of whom survive, as well as countless family and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Greater First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at the church. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery. Pastor Wm. H. Johnson, Eulogist. Anderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
