Betty Jo Puckett Carney, 87, resident of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 5th, at 2 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial followed in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family visited with friends on Saturday from noon until service time.
Born on June 15, 1933 in Rockvale, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edgar James Puckett and the late Florence Ethel Redmond Puckett.
Survivors include her son, Leslie Carney of Nashville; daughter, Jessica Carney of Nashville; brother, Tom (Nancy) Puckett of Unionville; nephews, Ricky Tripp, Larry Rochelle, and Michael Puckett. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Mills, Elnora Tripp, Mary Puckett, Sara Robinson; brothers, Charles Puckett, Bud Puckett; and nephew, Bobby Robinson.
