Billy Earl “Bill” Gold, 90, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Maury County Regional Health Center.
He was a native of Marshall County, the son of the late Chesney and Annie Hastings Gold. He was a farmer and a member of the East Commerce Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by by his wife, Nona Hill Gold; daughter, Vanessa Gold; brother, Parks Gold; sister, Joan Gold Eslick; and a special friend, Mary T. Carroll.
He is survived by two daughters, Julia Kay Gold (Charles) Black and Rachel (Rob) Mehlenbacher; two sons, Ches Gold and Will (Kristen) Gold; sister, Chesney Jean Gold Crowe; grandchildren, Katy Gold, Madalyn Gold Amis, Andrew Gold, Micajah Gold, Joseph Gold, Gaylon Gold, Connor Mehlenbacher, and Claire Mehlenbacher.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. from East Commerce Baptist Church with burial to follow in Temple Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the East Commerce Baptist Church and will continue Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
