Bobby "Broke Back" Brown passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his home, after suffering from a long illness.

He was the son of the late Henry Lee and Eartha Bea Brown. He was educated in the Marshall County School System and retired from Inter City Products.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Annie Louise Brown, in 2001.

He leaves to mourn: two sons, James Winston Brown of Lewisburg and Larry Mayberry of Columbia; five daughters, Tracie Michelle Brown and Cynthia Joanne McKnight of Lewisburg, Vanessa Denita Ransom and Vickie Denise Ransom of Shelbyville, and Kimberly Tramayne Howse of Bradenton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers, James and Ronald Brown of Nashville, and Joe Brown of Spring Hill; four sisters, Diane Allen and Betty Griffin of Lewisburg, and Sandra Howse and Patrica Brown of Nashville; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Greater First Baptist Church. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery.

Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
