Carolyn Jean Pruitt, 78, of Lewisburg, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, at her residence.
She was a native of Columbus, OH, the daughter of the late Wilbur Earl and Katie Kemplin Havens. She was a retired from Cosmolab and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Rice.
She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Jarrell (Donnie) Wells of Fort Payne, AL; two sons, Robert E. (Heidi) Jarrell of Vine Grove, KY and Steven L. (Joyce) Jarrell of Lewisburg; sister, Joyce Phipps of Lewisburg; and three brothers, Roger Cox of Greenup, KY, Bobby Cox of Mt. Juliet, and Bobby Kemplin of KY. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at 1 p.m. from chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will continue Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
