Mrs. Catherine Pinkston Hodge Kennedy, 89, of Lewisburg, formerly of Cornersville, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Kennedy was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Bernie D. and Ruby Mae Walker Pinkston. She was a school dietician in Georgia and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold Hodge and Marvin Kennedy; one daughter, Judy Hodge (Gary of Lewisburg) Easterwood; nine brothers, Allen, Wilburn, Howard, George, Windell, James, Wave, Herman, and Joseph Pinkston.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Dorris) Gentry of Lewisburg; one son, Jerry (Connie) Hodge of Lewisburg; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family began on Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday until the funeral hour.
