Born on August 30, 1947, in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Earl Davis and the late Virginia Ruth Blackwell Davis. Charlie was a retired employee of ICP and loved to go fishing.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Gail Hames Davis; sons, Charles E. (Darlene) Davis of Lewisburg, Joey (Michaela) Davis of Lewisburg; daughters, Tammy (Mike) Stafford of Pulaski, Angie (Chris) Rodgers of Lewisburg; brother, Jimmy (Lynn) Davis of Fayetteville; sister, Sherry McKnight of Lewisburg; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren
Active pallbearers will be Nathan Welch, Jason Welch, Justin Wells, Coty Davis, Chris Henson, Chris Dodson. Honorary Pallbearers include Jackson Wells and Mason Welch.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37203.
