Charles Edward Luttrell Jr., 75, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Luttrell was a native of Maury County, the son of the late Charles Edward Sr., and Ruthie Mae Davis Luttrell. He was a farmer and co-owner of East Commerce Shell. He was a veteran and was a member of the Baptist church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ruth Wiley, and four brothers, Billy Ray Luttrell, James Lee Luttrell, Jerry Luttrell, and David Stanton Luttrell.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon Joyce Hooten Luttrell, one daughter, Jennifer Kaye Luttrell, and one son, Charles William "Will" (Sherry) Luttrell, all of Lewisburg; one brother, John "Sonny" (Charlene) Luttrell of Lewisburg; six sisters, Dot (Alton) Keith of Williamsport, Barbara (Milton) Hicks of LaVergne, Thelma Reenie Johnson of Lewisburg, Debbie (Danny) Jones of Waco, and Elaine (Richard) Culbertson, Brenda (Gene) Farrar, and Linda (Harold) Gilliam, all of Cornersville; and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Luttrell and Darlene Luttrell. Three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Lone Oak Cemetery, with burial to follow.
Visitation with the family began Thursday and will continue on Friday until 12:30 p.m.
