Christine Steele Wasson, 91, passed away at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
She was born in Cornersville on July 20, 1923.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Murray B. Steele; and three sisters, Olivia (David) Butler of Nashville, Bessie M. (Jim) Tolliver of Hendersonville, and Pauline (Meldon) Calloway of Cornersville.
She is survived by her son, Charles W. Wasson; two granddaughters, Kristen and Lauren Wasson of Lebanon; one brother, John Gordon Steele of Nashville; seven nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 2, at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Road, Nashville, followed by the service in their chapel at noon with her nephew, Michael Brown, officiating.
A private family graveside service will follow in Cornersville.
