Clifford Holley, 84, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Columbia.
Mr. Holley was born in Lincoln County and was a son of the late Sam Huey and Elsie Mae Seagroves Holley. He was a member of Farmington Baptist Church and retired after 22 years of service with Eaton Corporation of Shelbyville.
Mr. Holley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elveree W. Holley, of the Farmington Community; two daughters, Sandra J. Yates of Spring Hill and Kathy D. Whitworth of Chapel Hill; son, Marvin G. Holley of Denham Springs, La.; sister, Louise Brown of Lewisburg; two brothers, J. W. Holley of Dennison, Texas, and Ray Holley of Cornersville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 4, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Jones officiating. Burial followed in Stewart Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chapel Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
