Coy Lee Crane

Coy Lee Crane, 85, died at his home in Nashville on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.

He was born and raised in Lincoln County. Mr. Crane served in the Korean War, retired from AVCO as a business representative for the Machinists Union. He was a member of Meads Chapel Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Pearl Thomas Crane of Petersburg, and a brother, Glen Crane of Huntsville.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Bowers Crane of Nashville; two daughters, Brenda Crane Clark and her husband Tommy Clark of Cookville and Cathy Crane Cornwell of Franklin; three grandchildren, Lindsey Clark, Ashleigh Clark, and Andrew Cornwell; one sister, Kathleen McElroy of Lewisburg; one brother, Lester Crane Jr. and his wife Charlene Crane of Columbia; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Woodbine Hickory Chapel, on Nolensville Pike in Nashville.

Burial will follow in Harpeth Hill Cemetary, Nashville.
