Donnie Earl Hancock Sr., 58, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Lewisburg.

Mr. Hancock was born in Trousdale County, Tenn., and was a son of the late Earl and Gracie Satterfield Hancock. He was a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Hancock.

Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife, Janice Hancock of Lewisburg; son, Donnie Earl Hancock Jr. of Lewisburg; stepson, Brian (Lori) Sheppard of Lewisburg; sister, Teresa Darnell of Lebanon, Tenn.; brothers, Ronnie Hancock and Johnny Hancock, both of Unionville; 10 grandchildren, Coty Hancock, Miranda Hancock, Jayden Hancock, Brooklyn Hancock, Bubby Hancock, Ethan Guzzman, Zachery Sheppard, James Sheppard, Kelsie Sheppard and Shelby Sheppard.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 16, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. John Eatherly officiating. Burial followed in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
