Mrs. Elizabeth Stegall Collins, 89, of Lewisburg, died Friday, March 27, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Collins was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Sammie Hardison Stegall. She was a homemaker and dairy farmer and was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Womens’ Farm Bureau and proponent of the “Ag in the Classroom Program.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tilden Collins, and a brother, Doug Stegall.
She is survived by one daughter, Jenny (Mike) Conder of Lewisburg; one son, Mike (Faye) Collins of Lewisburg; two brothers, Eddie Stegall of Franklin, Tommy Stegall of Columbia; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Due to social safety guidelines, a private family graveside was held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Lone Oak Cemetery at 2 p.m. and burial followed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Monroe Carroll Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, or the “Ag in the Classroom Program” through Farm Bureau.
