Era Aline George, 87, of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1926, in Marshall County, to the late Bernie Floyd Webb and Mary Ethel Boyett Webb.

Era Aline was retired from AT&T. She was a member of Westvue Church of Christ. She was also a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Farris Rowe George; two brothers, Dorris and Billy Webb; and one daughter, Deloris Kay Ellis.

She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Bond (Dan) of Franklin, Dianne McKnight (Larry) of Lewisburg, and Debbie Miller (Everett) of Spring Hill; seven grandchildren, Greg Andrews (Andrea) of Camden Wyoming, Del., Danny Pugh (Karen) of Franklin, Travis McKnight (Jamie) of Spring Hill, Amy Andrews of Portland, Tenn., Jared McKnight (Tessa) of Lewisburg, Megan Cragar (Preston) and Carrie Miller, both of Spring Hill; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with Vinton Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers serving are Greg Andrews, Danny Pugh, Travis McKnight, Jared McKnight, Preston Cragar, and Jack Webb.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westvue Church of Christ or the charity of your choice.
