On May 9, 2023, Esther Hightower-Scott passed from this earthly life at the age of 67, at Maury Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William and Laurisal Hightower. Esther is survived by her brother, Phillip (Liz) Hightower.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William "Bill" Hightower.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Allen Bethel AME Church (Pastor Anthony Thomas) with eulogy performed by Rev. Darrell Drumwright. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and service begins at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery.
