Frankie Jewell Wallace

Frankie Jewell Wallace was enjoyed by her family for 101 years; she died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the National Health Care in Columbia.

She was born in Morristown, Tenn. on Sept. 7, 1912, daughter of the late Earl Carlton and Etha Lillian Newton Watts. She retired from Faber Castell and was a member of the Cornersville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Wallace; sisters, Laura Graham, Mary Ellen Watts, Gertrude Watts, and Pearl Watts; and brothers, Arthur, Dean, James, Flournoy, Luther, Earl, and Horace Watts.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Wallace and wife Rebecca of Columbia; daughter, Lillian "Sue" Uselton and husband Leon of Cornersville; grandchildren, Ann Uselton Murdock and husband Jake of Lawrenceburg, Steve Uselton and wife Lisa of Belfast, Sandra Uselton Childress and husband Roger of Lewisburg, Marcia Wallace Willison of Franklin, Linda Wallace Garrett and husband Ray of Columbia, Frankie "Angel" Wallace Lambert and husband Ray of Hampshire, and Crystal Wallace McKee of Columbia; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Giles Memory Garden.
