Helen Virginia McAdams, 82, of Eagleville, died Monday, December 6, 2021, at her residence.
She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Dewey Bell and Nellie Dickson Jett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David McAdams; sisters, Jennie Mai Lee, Mary Francis Moore, Edna Louise Cook, Katie Bell Stinnett, and Elsie Marie Smith; brothers, Virgil M. Jett, Thomas Bell Jett, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jett, Charlie Crit Jett.
She is survived by sons, Charles McAdams of Eagleville, Jerry Clay McAdams of Atlanta, Randy (Royce) McAdams of Panama City Beach, FL, Joe McAdams of Joelton, Jim McAdams of Lafayette, TN; three sisters, Dorothy Gean McRedmond, Daisy Mai Cozart, and Martha Jane Drake; two brothers, Leonard Jett and Joe Turner Jett; 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091, with burial to follow in Bethbirei Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and will continue until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
