Ike Ray Stafford, 61, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at his residence after a long illness.
Mr. Stafford was a native of Marshall County, and was the son of the late Colen Stafford and Bessie Journey Holland Bradford. He was a heavy equipment technician and was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Mitchell, who passed away in 2004, and Frances Davis.
He is survived by one sister, Randell (Carthen) Jean Allen of Fayetteville, and four brothers, Wesley (Darlene) Stafford of Lewisburg, Glen (Betty Ruth) Stafford of Lewisburg, Albert Thomas (Helen) Stafford of the Rally Hill Community, and Charles Leonard (Pauline) Stafford of the Wheel Community.
Funeral services for Mr. Stafford were held Monday, Oct. 6, at the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Edd Luna officiating. Burial followed at New Zion Cemetery in the Brick Church Community of Giles County.
