J. T. King, 36, of the Holts Corner Community, died Monday, June 11, 2012.

Mr. King was born in Bedford County and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with Wolf Tree Service of Manchester, Tenn.

J. T. was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane Riner.

Mr. King is survived by a daughter, Courtney King of Chapel Hill; wife, Terry Jo King of Chapel Hill; mother, Glenda (Bubba) Yeager King Joyce of Holts Corner; father, John Robert King of Lewisburg; sisters, Becky (Eddie) King of Lewisburg and Susie (Billy) Marsh of Lewisburg; stepbrother, Casey Joyce of Chapel Hill; friend, Kellie Hurst; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 14, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hopper Cemetery near Chapel Hill.

Dillon Davis, Michael Marsh, Rob Byrd, Jerry Yeager, Taylor Yeager, Brian Jett, William Stinnett and Jerry Doggett will serve as pallbearers.

Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Chapel Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
