James Ray Bennett, 77, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at Maury Regional.
He was a native of Rosedale, MS, the son of the late James Bennett and Lena Coats Dyer. He was self-employed and was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steve Bennett and a brother, Tracie Lee Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Delana Stone Bennett; daughter, Ashley Bennett Johnson of Belfast; son, Ricky Bennett of Atlanta, GA; sister, Sybil Bennett Sanders of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
