James Thomas Kenney, a resident of Lewisburg, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at NHC Lewisburg.
Born on April 20, 1935, in Mount Juliet, TN, he was the son of the late Virgus Kenney and Mattie Kenney. He loved being around his family. James was an avid reader and very quiet person. Served his country for 3 years as a Marine Corporal.
Survivors include his loving wife, Millie Kenney; step-grandson, Ray Dunnavant; two step great-grandchildren, Neaven Dunnavant and Michael Dunnavant; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by stepdaughter, Sherrie McCoy; two brothers and five sisters.
