Jim Crutcher, 65, of Lewisburg, died Monday evening, Oct. 14, 2013, in Nashville.
Mr. Crutcher was born in Williamson County, and was a son of the late John Ed and Agnes Hazelwood Crutcher. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Chapel Hill and was retired from the City of Lewisburg Water Department.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Crutcher, who died in 2010.
Mr. Crutcher is survived by sisters, Margaret (Wayne) Arrington of Chapel Hill and Polly Burrow of Nashville; brother, Clyde (Jeanette) Crutcher of Unionville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 17, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Hunt and Joe Coble officiating. Burial followed in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Billy Stafford, Jimmy Curtis, Larry Curtis, Ronnie Curtis, Marion Whitsett, Randy Crutcher, Barry Hoover, and Mark Crutcher served as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 456, Chapel Hill, TN 37034, in memory of Jim Crutcher.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge of arrangments.
