Mr. Tate was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late James Lewis and Martha Myrena Waggoner Tate. He was retired from Inter City Products. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earle Jones Tate in 2010, and brother, Charles Ray Tate in 2009. ...

Joe Frank Tate, age 73 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, in NHC Lewisburg.
Mr. Tate was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late James Lewis and Martha Myrena Waggoner Tate. He was retired from Inter City Products.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earle Jones Tate in 2010, and brother, Charles Ray Tate in 2009. He is survived by isters, Hilda (Buddy) Tankersley and Sylvia (Floyd) Whitsett; brother Robert "Bob" (Joyce) Tate; sister-in-law, Kathy Jones and brother-in-law, Tommy Jones, all of Lewisburg.
Graveside services were conducted by Paul Woodford at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015 in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family was at London Funeral Home from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday for visitation.
London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
