Johnny Douglas Ray, 62, passed away Sunday June 14, 2015, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Johnny was the son of the late Mr. Thomas H. and Mrs Cecil McQuiddy Ray. He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Anita Scott of Florida, Ms. Allie Mae Ray, Mrs. Gail O'Neal and Mrs. Judy Sparrow, all of Lewisburg; three brothers: Mr. Robert and Rickey Ray both of Nashville, and Mr. Marcus Ray of Ohio; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. today at the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home, 825 Wakefield Street. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Liggett Street Church of God. Interment in Cook Memorial Garden. Anderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
