Kenneth Earl Junior, age 75, of Madison, died Monday, Aug. 20, in Athens, Ala. Junior was born in Alabama and had been a lifelong resident of Madison. He served four years in the Army during the Korean War, then worked for Morton Thiokol as a mechanical and chemical engineer and retired after 35 years of service. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Grace Junior. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Atnip Junior of Madison; one son, Daniel E. Junior of Lewisburg; one daughter, Janice Junior and Dr. John C. Long of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one brother, James Junior of Madison; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service was held on Aug. 22 at Mapel Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.

Madison Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
