Lewis Thomas Prince Jr., 61, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2011, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro following a short illness.
A native of Shelbyville, he was son of the late Lewis Thomas Prince Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Dunn. He was retired from Jostens and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Prince is survived by his wife, Sherri Smith Prince of Shelbyville; children, Crystal (Tim) O'Neal of Shelbyville, Cindy Pinkerton of Huntsville, Ala., Valerie (Andre) LaCoss of Shelbyville, Billy (Farrah) Prince of Shelbyville, Holly (Jonathan) Leverette of Lewisburg, and Laura (Steve) Tant of Manchester; brother; Jimmy Donald Prince of Tullahoma; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
According to his wishes, Mr. Prince was cremated.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Doak-Howell Funeral Home.
