Luther J. Clark, 84, of Cornersville, died Friday, May 29, 2020, at his home.

He was a native of Giles County, being born in Lynnville, TN, on May 9, 1936, to the late John B. and Annie Adams Clark. He was a retired supervisor with both Faber Castell and Sanford, but farming was his love. Mr. Clark was a member of the New Life Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, A. D. (Louis) Clark, Charles Clark, and a sister, Anna Margaret Clark.

He is survived by his sweetheart and wife of sixty-six years, Everlene Mary Clark; three daughters, Betty (Andrew) Perry of Lewisburg, Diana (Richard) Bradford of Decatur, AL, Lisa (Michael) Powell of Cornersville; one son, Kenneth (Delynn) Clark of Athens, AL; brothers, Tommy Clark and Bobby Clark of Pulaski; sister, Martha Elizabeth Clark of Cornersville; sisters-in-law, Lois Clark of Pulaski, Mary Elizabeth Clark of Franklin, and Pauline Clark of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 31, 2020, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN 37047, with burial following in Mars Hill Cemetery. Pastor Richard Bradford officiated.

Visitation with the family began Sunday, May 31, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The family wishes to extend special thanks and appreciation to the staff at Maury Regional Hospital and Compassus for taking such great care of Luther during his illness.

Cornersville Funeral Home assisted the family with their arrangements.
