Lyle Edwin Alwardt, 56, of Lewisburg, TN, died Friday, June 2, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Lyle was born March 26, 1967, in Batavia, NY, to the late William Alwardt and Faye Graham Alwardt. He was a longtime truck driver for Conway Southern Logistics. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Alwardt.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Maier Alwardt; one daughter, Dawn (George) Hunt, Lyles, TN; three sons, Michael (Shaniah) Alwardt, Tullahoma; Timothy (Jennifer) Alwardt, Lewisburg; Cordell Alwardt, Lewisburg; step-children, Ashley Jones, Lewisburg; Krystal Jones, Pulaski; Amanda (Matt) Tomlin, Lafayette; 16 grandchildren; brother, Marty Stevens, Batavia, NY; sister, Linda Butler, Paris, TX.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091, with burial to follow in Sunset Park Cemetery, 755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
