Mary Elizabeth Cheatham Hamlin, 98, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at NHC Oakwood.

Mary was born Feb. 24, 1925, in Marshall County to the late Joe and Lillie Mae Beatty Cheatham. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She deeply loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Colie L. Hamlin, Jr.

She is survived by three daughters, Colma (Gary) Bolling, Carol (Frank) LaPorta, and Alice (Greg) Donahue all of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Teresa Cook, Kim (Todd) Watkins, Tommy (Christie) Montgomery, Angela (Bryan) Edwards, Dana (Chris) Schwiethale, Robin (Brian) Moody, Jason (Karen) Donahue, and Melanie (Matt) Sanders; 21 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, TN 37091, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewisburg First Baptist Church.
