Mary Elizabeth Lancaster, 94, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Lancaster was a native of Marshall County, and daughter of the late William J. and Mattie Toseland McKnight. When she was 86 years old she retired from Walmart where she worked in the fabric department. She was a longtime member of Berea Church of Christ and currently worshiped at Hickory Heights Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lancaster; brother, William Roy McKnight; and two sisters, Edna McKnight Bailey and Hellon McKnight Green Mallory.
She is survived by two sons, Tony (Marsha) Lancaster of Verona and Billy Stephen (Betty) Lancaster of Lewisburg. Five grandsons, Jason, Matt, and Evan Lancaster, and Kelly and Greg Lancaster, and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 22, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in the Berea Cemetery.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
