Mary Jo Horton Liggett, 82, of Lewisburg died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at her residence.
Mrs. Liggett was a native of Marshall County, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Harvey and Nina Irene Hargrove Horton. She was retired from Lewisburg Electric System and was a member of the Hickory Heights Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Liggett; great grandchild, Katelynn Hightower; sister, Barbara Liggett; and three brothers, Donnie Horton, Billy Horton and Johnny Horton. She is survived by two sons, Tim (Carol) Liggett of Lewisburg and Jeff Liggett of Tullahoma; five grandchildren, Shannon Liggett, Joe Liggett, Josh Liggett, Kelly Liggett, Madison Liggett; four great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Liggett; sisters-in-law, Jane Watson and Janice Liggett.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Morton Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral for visitation on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
