Mrs. Bobbie Laney, 69, of Chapel Hill, Tn, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mrs. Laney was a native of Jessup, Ga, and a daughter fo the late Eugene Scott andd Mildred Robertson Mixon. She was a self-employed beautician and manicurist and was a member of the Holt'ss Corner Baptist aChurch.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Curtis Laney, Chapel Hill, Tn, daughter, Mrs. Maria Hinson, Hermitage, Tn, one sister, Mrs. Glenda Cameron, Jessup, Ga, brothers, Mr. Carson Mixon of Hortense, Ga, Mr. Darwin Mixon, Jessup, Ga. Three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, September 25,, 2006 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating.
