Andrew (A.J.) Lindsey, 82, died Monday, August 10, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonza and Mammie Thomas Lindsey; brothers Lonnie Bagley, Earnest Lindsey and Leethwood Lindsey; and a son, Steve Kennon.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Annette Goggins Lindsey; his children, Bobby H. (Scobo) Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, Kenneth Moore, Donnie Lindsey, Gladys D. McGlothin, Sarah J. Mohammed, Carol Reed, Bridgett Jackson of Lewisburg, Sharon Goggins, Diane Jordan and Krystal Collette; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law, two aunts and a host of grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Aug. 15, at Goodsell United Methodist Church in Gadsden, Ala.
